Motorola reveals Moto G96 design, key specs ahead of July 9 debut in India

Motorola will launch the Moto G96 on July 9 in India. Ahead of the date, the brand confirmed several of the model’s details, including its design.

The brand earlier teased an unnamed model in India. Now, the company has revealed that it is indeed the rumored Moto G96 model we saw in earlier leaks and reports.

As revealed in the past, the phone sports two circular cutouts for its camera island, which is positioned in the upper left of the back panel.  The device comes in Cattleya Orchid, Dresden Blue, Greener Pastures, and Ashleigh Blue colorways, which use fake leather material. The material also confirms that it has a curved display and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

According to the page, the Moto G96 has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, a 6.67″ 3D curved 144Hz pOLED with 1600nits peak brightness, a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera with OIS, and an IP68 rating. Earlier reports also revealed that it could arrive with 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, an 8MP ultrawide unit in the back, a 32MP selfie camera, a 5500mAh battery, and Android 15.

The Motorola smartphone will be offered via Flipkart, and we expect more details to be confirmed soon. Stay tuned!
