A new leak specifies the alleged lenses that are being tested on the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra model.
The Oppo Find X9 series is coming soon. Although the brand is still secretive about the lineup, leaks about its models continue to emerge online.
In a new leak from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the series models would be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip. The same leaker earlier specified that the Oppo Find X9 Pro could have the chip and a 200MP periscope unit instead of two 50MP periscopes.
As per DCS, the series will also employ a “periscope telephoto as standard.” To recall, all the Find X8 Ultra, X8S, and X8S+ that debuted in China last April all have telephotos. The vanilla and Pro variants that debuted in October last year also have telephoto lenses.
Amid the wait for the new Find X series, DCS claimed that the Oppo Find X9 Ultra would have a 200MP and a 50MP periscope. According to the account, Oppo is currently testing the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 and JN5 lenses. The same tipster earlier shared that the phone will have four camera units, including a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and two periscope telephoto cameras (200MP and 50MP). To compare, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra has a rear camera system comprised of a 50MP Sony LYT900 (1″, 23mm, f/1.8) main camera, a 50MP LYT700 3X (1/1.56″, 70mm, f/2.1) periscope, a 50MP LYT600 6X (1/1.95″, 135mm, f/3.1) periscope, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 (1/2.75″, 15mm, f/2.0) ultrawide.
